Painted on Bramble Bush Bay looking towards Brownsea Island. I like the vibrancy and liveliness of this painting. The sun was hot and I was in shirt sleeves for the first time this year. The heat dried the paint very quickly. This allowed for a wonderful sense of freedom.

One of the new acrylic paintings created en plein air. I have loved painting these energetic and colourful canvases. They are enlivened by the wonderful location and often incorporate sand from the beach.

The sides have a deep edge which is painted in a suitable colour.
