There are impasto skirts of paint, delicate transparent watery area and flicks and flecks of paint. Painted in the rain on middle beach. The colours ran and the rain added droplet marks which I love. I got very wet and cold but it was worth it!

One of the new acrylic paintings created en plein air. I have loved painting these energetic and colourful canvases. They are enlivened by the wonderful location and often incorporate sand from the beach.

The sides have a deep edge which is painted in a suitable colour.
