Auric Tide

Stone
River-worn stones, once shaped by water and time, are gathered and veiled in gold — as though a tide of molten sunlight had flowed over them and come to rest.
Their rounded forms recall pebbles smoothed on distant shores, now transformed into a luminous, unified whole.
Auric Tide speaks of nature’s slow shaping hand meeting the human impulse to honour it in precious metal.

Stone Map Guide:
🪨 River Pebbles – once plain stones of earth-tones, rounded smooth by the movement of water.
🪨 Basalt & Flint Pebbles – originally dark and weighty, now glowing with a warm golden lustre.
🪨 Quartzite & Pale Agates – naturally soft-toned stones beneath the finish, adding subtle contours to the sculpture’s surface.
✨ Gold Finish – a brushed and burnished metallic layer that unites every stone in a single golden tide, transforming the ordinary into the radiant.
