Hidden Images by Daniel Parsons Image: “These turkeys are on the prowl in Sica Hollow State Park, a place filled with rugged beauty and ancient mysteries in the northeastern corner of South Dakota. Bringing people to see the wide-open spaces around them feeds my soul. My function as an artist is to provide a window into the natural habitat of the animals I paint. If I grab the feeling of an early morning sunrise, whistle of wings overhead, or smell of cut grain, I've done my job well.”
