These paintings represent Mason’s current body of work, developed from direct plein air observation and completed in the studio. Each piece begins in front of the subject, where light, atmosphere, and structure are recorded from life, and is later refined into a finished composition that preserves the immediacy of the original experience.

Mason’s work has been recognized by the Art Renewal Center, the Almenara Art Prize, and Plein Air Magazine’s Plein Air Salon, reflecting a commitment to classical discipline and contemporary realism.
