While waiting to dine at the Lighthouse Restaurant I couldn't help but notice the sunlit row of trees along the South Fork of Little Barren River and the stillness of the water leading up to the horizon. It resembled a line of candlesticks on a candelabra all aflame! Fun to try to render in paint. A brunaille underpainting of burnt sienna established the depth I was able to achieve and maintain in the subsequent color passes.
