My art practice challenges social and linguistic constructs in the United States through precisely crafted artworks organized into collections.
MessageThis sculpture suspends a lone figure high above the floor, grasping a red bar that feels both like a lifeline and a threshold. Having just come out as queer, they dangle in a space between fear and possibility—no longer anchored to old norms, yet uncertain of what lies ahead. The height evokes risk, exposure, and vulnerability, while the open space around them suggests a fragile moment of liberation where the future remains unwritten, precarious, and full of potential.
