This print was created using the drypoint intaglio method on a repurposed Tetra Pak® carton. Drypoint is a direct, nontoxic process where a sharp tool scratches lines into the printing surface. These grooves hold ink and create rich, velvety textures once printed. Here, I used the technique to render a cluster of bees, drawn by hand, interacting with softly glowing circles. The print celebrates accessible materials and sustainable practice while exploring the intricate relationship between bees and their changing habitat.
