The second of a series of wall pieces. The background was done mixing artist paint with a polyurethane resin. With the background showing the natural grain of the wood, the composition can then be carried out. Many of the pieces are suspended out from the background to allow for shadows to be cast across the front. The black figure outlines were cut from thin wood stock, then placed in various positions leading into, or out of, a doorway.
