This design is not very new in concept, but this is my interpretation, done with remnants of Mango wood pieces that were left over from another piece I completed early in the year. The finish is also unique, the Mango pieces were stained with a unique blue artist oil paint mixed with a Polyurethane Resin that I use in all of my work.

The base is made of pine and is lightly finished with a non yellowing polyurethane. This is one of several small pieces made of different woods that are remnants from other completed sculptures.
