“My paintings provide the viewer a moment to be immersed in an underlying sense of calm and wonder. They are like looking through a morning dew drop and convey movement and space with the use of my playful perspectives and pattern.

I explore the structure and surfaces of buildings, scenes found in nature, and everyday objects. I use my imagination to play and distort my subject’s initial orderliness, leaving behind an unbroken view on canvas.” -Sandra Mucha
