I paint to invite quiet into loud lives. My journey began with trust in color—pairing hues, weaving patterns, and listening to how they spoke beside one another. That trust led me to design textiles for decades, and later back to painting, where I discovered the stillness hidden within the city.
My canvases carry echoes of New York rooftops and Texas horizons, softened by patterns from bandanas and fabrics that once shaped my career. I do not create work for everyone. I create for those who crave pause, who look up at the sky between buildings and feel time slow.
