"Dancing with Time" is an abstract public art sculpture crafted by artist David Caudill. In 2016, the City of Roanoke sought a permanent sculpture to serve as a gateway to the West End Neighborhood; David Caudill’s piece was ultimately chosen. Caudill's intention with this piece was to portray the message that we are all simply dancing with time. Dancing with time signifies that we have the chance to fully live all our moments and fill our hearts with joy and love in order to enjoy the most wonderful dance of all, life.
About the artist:
Dave Caudill creates artworks of various scales for public, corporate, and private collections. His larger public sculptures are found at Louisiana’s Rip Van Winkle Gardens, East Tennessee’s Horizon Center Park, the University of Kentucky’s Singletary Center for the Arts, and the University of Louisville School of Music.
