Working on a print of my digital drawing 'Lighting Through Slits - 2', I transformed it with figures in acrylic paint. More explicit and more disturbing, this version contrasts the opposing techniques of digital drawing and brushwork. The lines of light on the non-existent woman seem frozen as if by a strobe light. The sinister figures watching also seem immobilized by their own intense and perhaps embarrassed gaze. And we, too, are halted, staring at the voyeurs...
