I was working on "À la Recherche d'un Coup de Pinceau Perdu - 1", and the title was turning in my mind when this image came to me vividly. I set about painting it. Only as I was completing the painting, I realized it was inspired more by the Moody Blues "In Search of the Lost Chord" than by the Proust title, and played the disc while adding the finishing brush-strokes.
