The Brilliance of Blue II is part of my ongoing exploration of the color blue and its emotional resonance. In this piece, I combined soft, cloud-like backgrounds with bold strokes of deep blue and contrasting warm tones to create depth and movement. Hidden within the abstraction is a vintage 1950s car, adding a touch of nostalgia and surprise. Painting intuitively allowed unexpected elements to emerge, making this work a reflection of memory, contrast, and the layered complexity of experience.
