Florida Memories II, part of my Inner Landscapes series, is a large mixed-media painting inspired by childhood trips to Miami to pick up my Panamanian grandmother. It evokes the vibrant sights and colors of vintage Miami Beach, featuring art deco hotels, elderly figures in rocking chairs sitting on their front porch, and the lively atmosphere of South Beach.
