All along the Sydney coast there are perfect window views peering through the trees. This view of Gordons Bay is framed by the palms and the banskia trees. However when I walked the Sydney coast walk a few weeks later the trees had been trimmed and the view was completely different. This moment in time captures the turquoise water as the sunlight dapples the trees. The white and cream houses contrast against the rocky cliffs as people wander around the point and the shadows of the afternoon start to form.
