The overview of this project made by artist Bekezela Mguni is described as: “Airports are some of the most powerful and dynamic spaces on the planet. They facilitate global connection, commerce, travel, exchange of ideas, experiences and resources between millions of people every day. We have an opportunity to encourage airport travelers, workers, and those in related industries to think about each other, how we relate to one another and to reflect the cultures and values of the region.”

This piece consists of a designated reading area with a curated collection of materials that will be available for use in the airport. In addition to this, the wall behind and next to the library area display a large scale black and white image of two people shaking hands. There is white text in the corners of this image, as well as a separate wall displaying black text only.
