Layers of molten beeswax—infused with pigment—are used to sculpt a surface that mirrors the texture of light over water and sand.

Golden ochres meet soft seafoam greens and watery blues, rising into a pale, expansive sky touched with hints of sunrise yellow. The tactile quality of the encaustic medium enhances the viewer’s connection to the scene, encouraging close observation and quiet reflection.
