The Arrival sculpture is fabricated in 304 grade stainless steel, and granite. The granite components are incorporated into the upper half of the composition, appearing as a long, continuous section of the feather's barbs and tip, and lending color and contrast to the stainless-steel form. It is 21' in overall length, with a height of 7'8'' to the top of the feather's shaft; its widest depth, in the center/mid-section, is approximately 3' total height from the top of the shaft is 12'abovesidewalk grade. The horizontally-oriented feather is over-sized in scale, and yet appears to have just lightly touched down to earth, (or, in this case, the plinth), resting on its side as it landed.
