Nebulae is a site-specific wall installation that references murmuration, a flock of birds in flight. The color palette for the work is taken from the Eagle Nebula, M16. The murmuration is a strong metaphor for the activity of the students that use the building. The come together, share knowledge, shift and move, separate, and then come back together again. The use of the iridescent paint is to add dimensionality to the work while adding a spark of interest and creating a dynamic work of art.
