Haley Gage is a multimedia artist whose work emerges from a childhood marked by religious extremism and the quiet violences that shaped her sense of self. She creates to make visible the anxiety loops, rituals, and searching that persist within her. The body becomes her primary language because it holds memory honestly, the way old houses hold heat.
Drawn to small things and confined spaces, Gage builds images that hover between safety and suffocation. Her work investigates how trauma becomes architecture—how faith, family, and fear construct rooms inside us.
Gage is currently completing her MFA in Visual Studies at Missouri State University and holds a BFA in Painting and Graphic Design from the College of the Ozarks.
