Gideon Agyeman is an MFA student at Missouri State University, holding a BFA from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. My ceramic sculptures and mixed media work explore African ancestry, traditions, and history. Drawing from the folklore of Ghana's Akan people, I merge traditional symbols with contemporary aesthetics to investigate cultural heritage, hybridity, and the links between mythology and speculative futures.
