ARTIST STATEMENT
“My art makes order out of the chaos of the world, usually by making chaos out of order.”
I have a Bachelor’s degree in English from Missouri State University with a minor in History.
I am the first generation on my father’s side and only the second generation on my mother’s side to do so.
Art was my favorite subject in school and my original intention was to major in Art Education. But life took over and I had to take few years off to work. With persistence and the support of my family I returned to college and shortly before my 30th birthday I earned my degree. Art continues to be one of my greatest joys and my soft spot to land.
