Friendship In Black and White

I wish we would all work harder at being friends. I have found that people are the same no matter what the outside skin color. That is the inspiration behind “Friendship in Black and White”.

It is a large quilt measuring 70x88 inches composed of only black and white fabrics. It is framed by a pieced border and an African border. There is African fabric, musical fabric, friendship fabric and fabric depicting things that make life beautiful. There is much to discover in this quilt.

“Friendship in Black and White” is pieced and quilted by machine. Friendship fabric on the back of the quilt carries out the theme. A hanging sleeve allows the quilt to easily be hung on the wall, but it is definitely big enough to be a bed quilt.

A label on the back documents the quilt. I signed it on the front in silver ink. This quilt is one-of-a-kind.
