Jarezzi Vola Lidos
Oil, acrylic, and graphite on canvas
Jarezzi Vola Lidos unfolds like a fragment from a parallel world—a vivid, dreamlike ecosystem suspended between emergence and dissolution. Shapes and entities seem to float in a dark, textured space, connected by strands, tendrils, and filaments that suggest an invisible network of communication. Each figure appears in a state of transformation, caught mid-metamorphosis, as if in the act of becoming something else entirely.
The chromatic contrasts—luminescent yellow, translucent white, deep violet—are not merely formal choices, but carriers of energy. They act as signals or pulses within this otherworldly space, marking nodes of intensity, encounters, and transitions. The darker ground becomes the stage upon which these beings—messengers, explorers, or shapeshifters—move, meet, and exchange.
In my work, I am not concerned with depicting a fixed scene. Instead, I seek to give form to the unseen processes that underlie reality. Jarezzi Vola Lidos draws on the same conceptual field as my RaumZeitMetamorphosen and Phoenix Photons series: the exploration of “in-between spaces” and the beings that traverse them. Here, both the octopus-like and astronaut-like presences act as symbolic figures—representing adaptability, curiosity, and the bridging of distant realms. They do not return with a literal message, but with an energetic resonance, a frequency that invites the viewer into another mode of perception.
For the intended exhibition, Jarezzi Vola Lidos embodies the core of my artistic approach: creating visual terrains where the boundaries between species, matter, and meaning dissolve. The work invites the audience to step into a dynamic, non-linear narrative, where each element is part of a larger, interconnected organism. In this suspended moment, the painting becomes both a map and a portal—pointing toward the endless possibilities of transformation and the intricate networks that link all forms of existence.
