Eagle Eye started with a broken earring missing its mate and a little silver fox head that broke off of who knows what who knows when. These discarded elements were strong together and i thought to myself, who would these belong to? Whose self-expression would wearing these be? Eagle Eye is beautiful and strong, deep-rooted, but free to soar. Her shrewd glance lets you know nothing gets past her. The combinations of both modern and traditional elements in her outfit and both tight and loose details in the painting give you a sense of the sturdy balance of two worlds within her.
