Albrizzi’s beautiful world map is one of the most interesting and decorative maps of the world appearing in the atlas "Atlante novissimo". Map of the world with two hemispheres and allegorical figures of the four continents in the corners. The map includes a finely executed armillary sphere, the explorer's trails, the unknown North-West coast of America, incomplete projections of Australia (still attached to New Guinea) and New Zealand, the conjectural Asian land extending towards Alaska, and many other misconceptions and cartographic projections.
