Her work is entirely spontaneous, guided by a process of experimentation, discovering, answering and responding to the previous mark. Her works have a sense of play and wonder with a; don’t I, should I, well, why not let’s see, approach to creating unplanned surprises of colour combinations and marks. She often works in limited palettes, with a hidden surprise and loves experimenting with physical and visual textures. She surrenders to the piece, not worrying about what or how it will happen, leaving the process open to the joy of creativity. She hopes her pieces evoke this excitement and discovery for you, the viewer, to enjoy with an added dash of bold with her play to balance shapes and lines.
