Stilts in Golden Dawn was photographed in August 2021 at the Woodland Wastewater Treatment Plant.The sun was rising against a smoky sky, and casting a golden light across the water where two Black-necked Stilts fished. I admired the painterly character of the scene – its ethereal quality required no PhotoShop enhancement, but is just as I saw it.
