Sandhill Crane Fantasy

Sandhill Crane Fantasy was photographed in January 2021 at the Merced National Wildlife Refuge . . . and elsewhere. This one crane looked so beautiful in flight, I couldn’t resist including a few phases of his flight in one image. The sky – not very interesting on that particular day – was switched out for another, more pleasing one, from another place and time.
