Cedar Waxwing was photographed in Lincoln in March 2021. Their distinctive yellow coloring, masks and crested heads give these little birds a serious air of authority, and they always command attention. Generally found in flocks in Sacramento from August until May, jhen they leave us to spend their summers in Canada.
