Regal Eagle was photographed in March 2021 in Folsom. Bald Eagles are always impressive, but this bird’s boldly articulated feathers reminded me of nothing so much as a regal cape. Even more than is usual, he presented an impression of power and wisdom. If the eagles have a leader, I thought, this must be him.
