Sandhill Crane Family was photographed in December 2018 at Staten Island near Lodi.I love to visit that area on winter mornings to see migrating cranes and other birds. While it is always grand to make a portrait, the opportunity to observe the intimate expressions of these marvelous birds goes beyond that to an experience that is spiritually uplifting.
