This plein air oil sketch began by painting a single shape that encompassed the bridge backlit by morning sun and its cast shadow. I simplified everything else a much as possible. I may paint this image more carefully at another time on a larger square in the studio. Available through Green Door Art Gallery, Webster Groves, MO.
