The shapes and patterns of tended fields and distant bluffs are the subjects of this expansive aerial perspective view of a rural Illinois sod farm. The title paraphrases a verse from Walt Whitman's poem, Leaves of Grass, which I read as a metaphor for the possibilities and joys that life can bring.
