Rōjo. Carved wood full face mask. Unpainted. Male human face. Eyes set deep inside between carved eyebrow arches and high cheek bones. Mouth carved with upper lip slightly curled. Carved upper teeth. Wood has natural dark lines that appear around the chin area. Part of Noh Mask Series carved between the years 1986-1990 during artists residency in Japan.
