ShiShi Guchi. Carved Mahogany Wood, unpainted. Full face mask of demon figure. Carved triangular design on forehead, pointing down towards face. Eyes slightly bulging, but framed by large eyebrows and cheeks. Shallow carved ears on sides. Large protruding nose. Wide open mouth with full set of teeth and fangs like details. Carved cleft chin. Carved wood full face mask. Part of Not Mask Series carved between the year os 1986-1990 during artists residency in Japan.
