Suji Otoko. Carved wood full face mask. Described by artist as an expression of a human being tormented. Represents someone who is suffering so much that the veins are popping out on the sides of the face. Carved lines on forehead, veins along sides and top of head, eyes open and terrified, mouth open with carved upper and lower teeth. Part of Noh Mask Series.
