Kojō. Carved wood full face mask painted white. Old man figure. Wrinkles carved on forehead, cheeks, and sides of face. Mouth painted red. Teeth painted black in a traditional Japanese style for beauty. Eyebrows and mustache lines are painted a dark blue. Chin hair is horse hair. Part of Noh Mask Series carved between the year of 1986-1990 during artists residency in Japan.
