Lisa. Full-face mask used in performances by Childsplay theater company in Tempe, Arizona. It has eyes painted with blue petals in the sugar skull style, a forehead with orange tree-shaped swirls and green dots, with a green droplet at the center. The nose is purple, and the teeth are outlined in purple and pink. The cheeks have orange and green w-like swirls, and the chin has an upside-down v-shaped swirl with a green dot at the center. On the interior side of the mask is remnants of lipstick by the mouth left my the actor who performed in it.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
