Calaca #6. Full face mask used in performances by Childsplay theater company in Tempe, Arizona. It has a purple dot in the center of the forehead with a yellow droplet above it. The forehead has pink and green circular designs on each side above dark blue eyebrows and eyes and is encircled in purple. The nose is light blue, and the cheeks have pink and light green Circular designs match the forehead with yellow dots at the center. The teeth are outlined in pink and purple. The chin has a V-shaped outline in pink and green with a purple droplet at the center.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
