Bacchanal

This painting was a reductionist exercise. All of my sketch paintings on unstretched canvas. It was an exercise in using as few colors as I could, to move quickly, portraying movement but still getting a recognizable representation of the model. Each of these paintings has a very rough three-color under-painting and only four to seven finished colors.
