“Flow” embodies a yearning to soften, to find a greater fluidity in being. To flow is to trust not only yourself but that there is a larger plan at play. This sculpture captures the ease you feel when you’re in alignment with what your soul desires. I often ask when I’m met with resistance, is this challenging because it naturally is, or am I pushing against something I genuinely don’t want to do? I’ve been asking myself a lot lately, is this challenging because IT IS, or am I fearful that I’m not enough?
This sculpture also made me think of Bruce Lee’s famous quote, “Be like water”. He meant that you should be formless, that people shouldn’t allow themselves to be trapped in a certain mindset. Instead, a person should be shapeless like water and able to adapt to certain situations, grow, and change.
“Flow” was a great reminder to myself that things are not always easy, but I have the capacity to adapt. I hope you all keep flowing in the direction you want.
This sculpture is modular and can be taken apart to be moved and shipped easily.
