As this piece emerged, I felt as though I was moving underwater—within a space of flow, current, and quiet mystery. The fish began to appear, swimming toward a light I sensed more than defined. While I don’t align with religious structure, I connect to the idea of a shared light within all of us—something that draws us forward, something we move toward together.
In the lower corner, a human figure surfaced—part canoe, part sailor—carried by the current, intertwined with the movement of the fish. It felt like a reflection of our own consciousness, drifting within something vast, often unaware we are even in it. The water became a metaphor for that awareness—surrounding us, holding us.
The turquoise linear structures suggest something half-lost, half-discovered—like remnants or signals within the flow. They offer questions more than answers. This piece became a meditation on current, on consciousness, and on the unseen forces that carry us.
