I dreamed I was painting the larger wave in the dark green with the teal streamed in. The neutral background is something different for me, being simple and not super busy, but there is texture adding interest. This painting will give you a true piece of my subconscious, Ha. As with “Perils of the Sea” I am sure the recent boating trip to Puget Sound had an impact on my thoughts of the ocean and sea. This is the first painting in a 20 paintings in 20 weeks I am challenging myself to do. The challenge includes painting various subjects and styles with out any boundries based on my past work.
