Archangel Saint Raguel
Raguel, meaning “God is Powerful,” is the divine enforcer of light and justice. In Ethiopian Orthodox tradition, he is the angel appointed over the lights—the sun, moon, and stars—and the one who hunts and punishes Satan. His feast is celebrated monthly on the 1st and annually on Meskerem 1. This original icon donors his celestial authority, spiritual vigilance, and sacred duty to uphold divine order.
