Inspired by Acts 20:1-16 in which Paul brings a young man back to life after a fall from an upstairs window, the image of a skull represents death while the surrounding botanical elements represent life. Throughout the image there are also several butterflies that represent our transformed life after we are rescued from spiritual death by accepting Christ. Bible pages from the book of Acts were layered underneath the image as a literal foundation for the imagery as well.
