Our beautiful coastal waters along the East Coast of Australia really inspire my paintings. The calming colours of turquoise, blues and aquas is an inducement to recreate on my canvases. This abstract piece reflects my love of these colours as well as the use of texture for added interest. I also enjoy the reflective qualities of water and using shimmering gold paint as highlights mimics this in my interpretation, and because I like a bit of bling!
